Welcome to the
Nordic Manosphere Network
We are a newly established collective of scholars dedicated to investigating the emergence of anti-feminist narratives and masculinist digital cultures within the unique Nordic online ecosystem.
While global interest in the manosphere has grown, current scholarly awareness often lacks a situated understanding of our region. As researchers working at this intersection, we recognized a critical need for a coordinated academic effort that reflects the specific cultural, political, and linguistic contexts of the Nordic countries.
Our network serves as a vital hub to convene dispersed scholarly perspectives and address these regional particularities. By fostering shared expertise and methodological innovation, we aim to prevent research fragmentation and ensure our findings are firmly positioned within established gender studies traditions. At this crucial moment, we are building the infrastructure necessary to move beyond duplicated efforts and toward a comprehensive, localized understanding of digital masculinities.
